CHOCO CARAMEL TOP HATS 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1/4 c. whipping cream
2 c. walnuts
6 oz. chocolate chips

Unwrap caramels and combine with cream in top of double boiler. Heat over simmering water, about an hour. Stir until smooth. Break walnuts coarsely and stir in.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on buttered cookie sheet. Let stand until firm. Meanwhile, heat chocolate chips over hot water until melted. Spread on top of caramels. Let stand until firm.
