GREEN TOMATO MINCEMEAT 
8 med. green tomatoes
15 med. apples, pared and cored
2 oz. suet
1 c. raisins
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 tsp. grated orange peel
1/4 c. orange juice
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
Dash of ground cloves

Grind tomatoes and apples (should be 4 cups each). Grind suet. Combine all ingredients in 3 quart Dutch oven and bring to boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat; simmer until thick, about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Cool quickly. Pack and freeze.
