JELLY ROLL 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. water
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Grease and flour a 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" jelly roll pan. Beat eggs until thick. Gradually beat in sugar. Then beat in water and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Beat until smooth. Pour into pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes in a moderate 375 degree oven. Loosen edges and turn upside down on a cloth sprinkled with powdered sugar. Spread cake at once with jelly and roll up beginning at short end. Wrap in the towel until cool. To make chocolate, add 4 tablespoons cocoa and fill with whipped topping or ice cream after the cake has been cooled and been rolled up.
