NAOMI'S HAM AND PEPSI | |
This is a wonderful Christmas Ham we have made for years. You can use any amount of Pepsi you wish but we find 3 cans per ham is best. 1 nice size shank or butt portion ham 3 (12 oz. ea.) cans Pepsi Cola 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, divided Preheat oven to 325°F. Lay ham cut side down on half of the stick of butter in a baking pan. Pour Pepsi into pan. You can either rub the rest of the butter on the ham or just lay it onto the top of the ham - either way is just fine. Cover ham with lid or foil and bake according to package directions till done (160°F internal temperature on meat thermometer; about 35 to 40 minutes per pound). Submitted by: Naomi Blankenship |
