MOLASSES CRISP 
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 c. shortening

Sift dry ingredients. In a saucepan, bring molasses and shortening to a boil. Cool slightly. Add flour mixture; mix good. Chill thoroughly. Cut in shape. Arrange on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until done, 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
