6 apples (Ida red - cooking apples - not Delicious)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water

Mix Jello, sugar, water in large pan and bring to boil. Add peeled and cored quartered apples. Cook approximately 15 minutes or until tender. Let cool. Arrange in 9 x 9 inch dish and refrigerate.
