FLUFFY MEATBALLS IN ONION GRAVY | |
1 env. onion soup mix 1 tbsp. flour 2 c. water 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 lb. ground beef 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 c. quick-cook oats 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. milk Combine soup mix, flour, water and Worcestershire sauce in 10 inch skillet and bring to boil over moderate heat while preparing meatballs. Combine beef, egg, oats, salt, pepper and milk and blend well. Drop rounded teaspoons of meat mixture into simmering onion soup gravy. Cook a few minutes and turn meatballs carefully. Cover skillet, bring to boil and simmer 15 minutes. Yield: 4 servings. |
