BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. lean stew beef or sirloin (cut in sm. strips)
1/4 c. flour
Salt & pepper to taste
1 stick butter
1 sm. chopped onion
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 can beef consomme
2 c. water
1 c. dairy sour cream
1 (12 oz.) pkg. egg noodles

Shake together in a paper bag, beef strips, flour, salt and pepper. Melt butter in skillet and add beef strips, onion, mushrooms and saute until brown. Add consomme and water. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until beef is tender. Add sour cream and pour over cooked noodles. Serves 6.
