SHREDDED APPLE PIE 
4 med. apples, shredded
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. orange juice

Pare apples and grate with a grater; place in pie shell. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon in saucepan stir in melted butter and orange juice; heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool slightly and pour over apples in pie shell.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. pecans
1/3 c. butter

Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Reduce to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Cool.
