HAMBURGER CORN PONE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. shortening
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. tomato juice
1 c. kidney beans, drained
1 c. corn bread batter

Brown meat and onions in skillet with shortening. Add remaining ingredients; except corn bread batter. Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour in baking dish. Spoon corn bread batter over top. Bake at 425 degrees for 11 to 20 minutes.
