WINE CAKE 
1 box butter cake mix
1 box vanilla instant pudding
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. water
4 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Topping:

1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 c. wine
1/8 c. water

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a tube cake pan and sprinkle nuts in bottom. Mix together the remaining cake ingredients until smooth. Pour batter over nuts and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.

Topping: Combine ingredients in saucepan and boil hard for 2 1/2 minutes. Turn cake onto a plate and use two prong fork to prick top. Slowly pour over the hot cake.
