RICE BALLS 
1 lg. can tomatoes, cut up
1/2 finely cut onion
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper

Heat in heavy pan. Add to 1 pound hamburger, 1/2 cup washed raw rice, salt and pepper. Form into balls. Put into boiling tomatoes. Simmer, covered, approximately 1 hour. Turn once. Makes 12 balls.
