2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. blackberry jam
1 c. black walnut meats
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. coconut
3 eggs
3 c. flour, sifted
1 tbsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar and butter together. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Add buttermilk, jam, raisins, nuts, coconut and allspice. Add flour and soda and mix well. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Should make 3 layers.
