SPICY PIZZA | |
1/2 tsp. yeast 2 c. flour 1 lb. sausage 2 (8 oz.) can tomato paste 1 tsp. each whole oregano and anise 1/2 tsp. whole rosemary 1 tsp. each garlic salt and salt 1 med. onion, sliced 10 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water in large bowl. Add flour; mix well. Let rest for 5 minutes, shape into ball. Roll out into 1/16 inch thick rectangle. Place on large greased and floured cookie sheet. Brown sausage in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Drain. Add tomato paste, 1 1/4 cups water and spices; mix well. Spoon sauce evenly over dough. Top with onion. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes. Yield: 4 servings. |
