PLUM DUMPLINGS 
4 cooked med. sized potatoes
2 eggs
3 tbsp. butter
2 c. flour, you may need a little more
About 6-8 purple plums, depends on the size of plums

Wash and pit plums, let them drain in a colander. DO not separate the sides. put the plums together again. Mash the potatoes add eggs, butter and enough flour to make a soft dough.

Take a ball of dough bigger than the plum and flatten out in your hands and then wrap the plum up in the dough. When done drop the dough wrapped plum in salted boiling water and boil until the dumplings rises to the top of the pot. Remove an serve hot with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
