1 pkg. dry yeast 1 1/2 c. warm (105 to 115 degrees) water 1 tbsp. honey 3 1/2 c. flour (sometimes a little more flour is needed to make a smooth dough) 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese Let raise to double in size. Cut off large walnut-sized piece of dough and roll out to pencil-sized stick. Place on greased cookie sheet and let raise to double in size. Melt 3 tablespoons butter and brush top of bread stick, sprinkle with coarse salt and bake at 400 degrees until golden brown (10 to 15 minutes). |
