SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. sour cream (1 carton)
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Sift flour, measure (resift twice) with soda and set aside. Cream butter and add sugar slowly beating constantly. Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition. Stir in sour cream.

Add flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time beating constantly. Add flavoring. Bake in well greased angel food pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Let cool 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
