PARTY TIME PORK CHOPS 
8 pork chops
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. salad oil
1 clove garlic, cut up
3/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. maple syrup
3/4 c. sherry or other cooking wine

Brown pork chops in a skillet. Place in a baking dish. Place all other ingredients in blender container. Cover, and blend on a medium speed until smooth, about 15 seconds. Pour over chops, cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Turn chops once during baking for browning on both sides. Serve with cooked rice or stuffing and use any remaining sauce as gravy. Yield: 4 servings.
