TATER TOTS CASSEROLE 
1 tbsp. shortening
1 1/4 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. diced onion
1/2 c. diced celery
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. water
1 (1 lb.) pkg. frozen tater tots

Melt shortening in a skillet. Add meat, onions, and celery. Cook until meat is browned. Remove from range and add peas, soup and water. Mix well. Place 1/2 of tater tots in a buttered casserole. Pour meat mixture over tater tots. Arrange remaining tater tots on top of casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
