STRUDLE DOUGH 
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. hot water
2 tbsp. oil
2 to 2 1/4 c. flour

Beat egg yolk in a bowl. Add salt, hot water and oil, beating up well. Mix in flour gradually but work fast enough so dough does not get cold. Knead well until it is velvety and smooth. Brush with a little oil and cover. Allow to stand in a warm spot 20 to 30 minutes. Flour an old clean tablecloth and place 1/2 of dough on this. Roll out quickly to about 1/4 inch thickness, then using back of hand draw dough out carefully from center outward. Keep moving hands until dough is paper thin sheet. Sprinkle liberally with oil. Have filling prepared and ready to use.
