HEARTY BEEF VEGETABLE SOUP | |
2 lbs. beef shank or short ribs 1 lb. can tomatoes 3 stalks celery, chopped 2 med. onions, chopped 2 med. potatoes, diced 3 c. water 1 tsp. salt 4 peppercorns 3 beef bouillon cubes or 1 can beef broth 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables Put all but frozen vegetables in crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 24 hours, on high 7 to 10 hours. Frozen vegetables may be added during the last 2 hours. |
