LIVINGSTON COFFEE CAKE | |
1/4 c. white sugar 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. chopped nuts 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips BATTER: 1/4 lb. butter 2 eggs 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt 1 c. sour cream 2 c. sifted cake flour 1. Mix topping in a bowl and set aside. 2. Cream butter, add sugar and beat until smooth. Add unbeaten eggs, sour cream; add baking soda and baking powder, salt and vanilla, beating well after each addition. Add flour last and mix well. 3. Into greased and floured tube pan, sprinkle a thin layer of topping and spoon batter into pan, alternating layers of batter and topping. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. |
