BROWN BAG APPLE PIE 
4-5 apples, peeled & sliced
1 pie shell (deep dish is best)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. + 5 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. water
1 stick butter

Place apples in pie shell. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar, salt, cinnamon, 5 tablespoons flour and 3 tablespoons water. Combine remaining sugar, flour and butter to make a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle on top of pie. Place pie in a large brown bag and bind air tight with paper clips or staples. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour at 425 degrees. Do not over bake.
