BEEF VEGETABLE SOUP 
2 lbs. beef, cut in sm. chips
2 (#2) cans tomatoes
1 (#2) can garden peas and carrots
1 sm. onion
Salt and pepper to taste
8 to 10 Irish potatoes (med.)

Cook beef in pot until tender and browned. Peel and cube potatoes and onion; add to beef. Add water to cover; boil until potatoes are soft. Add tomatoes and peas. Simmer for about 45 minutes. Can substitute 2 pound beef cubes with 2 pounds ground beef. Brown and drain; add remaining ingredients.
