OREO COOKIE DESSERT 
1 lg. pkg. Oreo cookies
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 stick butter
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 can Hershey's syrup

Crumble cookies into 9 x 13 inch pan. Dribble melted butter over cookies. Cut ice cream into slices and arrange over cookie crust.

In double boiler, heat butter with milk and syrup until bubbly. Cool thoroughly, then pour over ice cream and return to freeze. Top with Cool Whip and nuts.
