HOT MILK CAKE 
2 eggs separated
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. hot milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch salt

Cream egg yolks with sugar. Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and dry ingredients, alternating. Add salt. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in batter.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
