1 chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 tub Cool Whip
1 container chocolate frosting

Bake cake in layer pans, as directed, cool completely. Spread chocolate frosting between 2 layers, not on sides or very top (middle only). Spread 1/2 can cherries over frosting. Place second layer on top. Frost sides with Cool Whip. Make a well on top layer in the middle. Pour remaining cherries in well. Freeze or refrigerate. Slice and eat.
