PEACH MACAROON | |
1/2 c. sifted flour (measure after sifted) 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. shortening 1 egg 1 lb. sliced peaches (canned or fresh) Cinnamon Heavy cream, whipped (May substitute pears or mix fruits (peaches and fresh blueberries). Cream sugar and shortening using electric beater. Add egg, then sifted flour and baking powder. Fill ungreased pie plate with drained peaches, spread out. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Spread batter over the peaches. Completely cover. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream. |
