DORIS' COCONUT CANDY | |
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 2 cups coconut (Angel Flake) 2 cups chopped (fine) pecans 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 box paraffin wax Mix confectioners' sugar and sweetened condensed milk well and add coconut flakes. In another bowl mix the pecans and melted butter. Add the two mixtures together. Put mixture in refrigerator to chill. Roll out into small balls to dip. Mix in double boiler chocolate chips paraffin wax. Stick a toothpick in your pieces of candy and dip. Let it drip off until it stops. Place on wax paper. Pull out toothpick so the hole will close. This recipe makes 5 pounds and is finger licking good! |
