SHRIMP GUMBO 
1 pkg. okra, cut
1 lg. onion, copped
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 can tomato paste
1 can consomme
2 lbs. shrimp, shelled
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
3/4 c. celery, chopped
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
1 can water
1 tbsp. seafood seasoning
1 (5 1/2 oz.) can crabmeat (if desired)

In 5 teaspoons oil, saute onions, celery and peppers. Add salt, pepper, parsley, seafood seasoning, tomato paste, water, consomme and okra. Bring to boil, then simmer for 1 hour. Add shrimp. Cook until shrimp turns pink, then add crab. Serve over rice.
