SCHOOL HOUSE VEGETABLE-BEEF SOUP 
2 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 can crushed tomatoes (whole, diced or pureed will work also)
1 can Veg-All
1 tsp. garlic powder or 1-2 cloves fresh garlic, pureed
3 stalks celery, strings removed and finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown ground beef; drain, rinse, and cool. Add onion, garlic, and celery. Cook briefly. Add tomatoes and Veg-All with liquid. Heat thoroughly, 20 to 30 minutes on low heat. May add leftover vegetables (but no yucky ones). Freezes well. Pretty good with buttered saltines crackers.
