BRAIDED YEAST BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2-3 c. bread flour

Mix yeast, water, butter, sugar and egg together. Add 1 cup flour and mix. Add 1 1/2 cups more flour until the right consistency. Knead; let rise, shape in braid. Let rise and bake at 375 degrees between 25-35 minutes.
