CRISPY OAT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. Crisco oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. regular oats
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. nuts

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, oil and vanilla. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Add to creamed mix. Stir in oats and nuts. Drop by spoonful onto baking pan and flatten with tines of fork. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 10 dozen.
