DATE PUMPKIN BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. pumpkin
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. dates, chopped

Sift flour, soda and spices. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and pumpkin and mix in dry ingredients. Stir in nuts and dates. Spread in well-greased 9 x 12 inch pan and bake 18 to 20 minutes in 350 degree oven. Frost with 1 cup powdered sugar and 5 teaspoons orange juice concentrate on warm bars to glaze.
