VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 can mixed vegetables, drained
1 can green beans (or yellow wax beans), drained
1 can red kidney beans

3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. salad oil
1 tsp. pepper

Mix all well. Refrigerate overnight. Serve cold.

1/2 thinly sliced onion
1/2 c. green pepper (or red pepper)
2 stalks celery, chopped
