MEATLOAF 
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. crushed cracker crumbs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Mix all ingredients thoroughly in 9 x 5 inch loaf dish. Spread mixture evenly in dish. Microwave 16-20 minutes on 6, or until set in center. Let stand 5 minutes. Garnish with slice of cherry tomato and parsley sprigs, if desired. 4 to 5 servings.

Variations: Before baking, spread 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, chili sauce or catsup over top of loaf.

Mustard Loaf: Reduce Worcestershire sauce to 1 tablespoon. Add 1 tablespoon prepared mustard, 1/2 teaspoon horseradish, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt.

Seasoned Meatloaf: Omit Worcestershire sauce. Add 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper, 2 tablespoons chili sauce. Top with 1 can (8 3/4 ounce) crushed pineapple, drained mixed with 1 teaspoon curry powder.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
