ROKA ROLL-UPS | |
1 sm. jar Roka Blue cheese spread (in refrigerated section) 1 can asparagus, whole, drained 1/2 loaf sandwich bread 1/2 c. melted butter Cut off crust from bread slices; all four sides. Flatten bread with rolling pin. Spread bread with Roka Blue cheese. Place asparagus lengthwise on bread. Then roll bread up tightly. Cut into 3 bite-size pieces. Dip into melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes, then serve. Melts in your mouth. May be frozen before baking. Variation (by Donna Samuelian) : Substitute 1 (5 oz.) pkg. Boursin cheese for blue cheese. Roll in 8 tablespoons Parmesan cheese mixed with sesame seeds after dipping in butter. |
