DUMP CAKE 
1 can pie filling
1 can fruit with juice
1 pkg. cake mix
1 1/2 sticks melted or sliced butter
1 c. nuts (or 1/2 c. nuts and 1/2 c. coconut)

Spoon pie filling evenly in bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Spread fruit over filling. Sprinkle cake mix over all. Sprinkle nuts and/or coconut on top. Pour or place butter slices over all. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool. A dab of Cool Whip on top is good.

Variations:

Apple pie filling, peaches and spice cake.

Cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, and chocolate cake.

Cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, and yellow cake.

Peach pie filling, fresh blueberries, and 1 cup water and white cake.
