ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. pecan pieces, if desired

Cream Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Add egg, salt and baking soda. Mix well. Gradually stir in flour. Add chocolate chips and pecan pieces. Drop dough by spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies. They will look undone. Let cool a minute or two before removing from pan. For crisp cookies, 11-13 minutes.
