CHEESY MEAT LOAF 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 beaten eggs
4 oz. American cheese, diced, 1 c.
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork

Cook onion and green pepper in boiling water until tender; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, eggs, cheese, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and thyme. Add ground beef and pork, mixing well. Shape into loaf in baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Best leftovers for sandwiches.
