1 (18 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. granulated sugar
Dash of salt
1 (5 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Line cupcake tins with paper liners and fill 1/2 full; set aside.

Beat cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt together. Stir in chips. Drop heaping teaspoonfuls in the half-filled cupcake tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Makes 24 cupcakes.
