1 c. turbinado sugar (or brown sugar)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. butter
1 c. yogurt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. turbinado sugar

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Add egg, yogurt, and vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Pour half the batter into a greased baking pan. Sprinkle half the sugar-cinnamon mixture over batter. Add remainder of batter. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture. Bake in 375 degree oven for 40 minutes.
