DELICIOUS SWEET GREEN PEPPER
STEAK
 
Slice 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. beef in thin strips
Slice 1 med. onion in thin slices
1 clove of garlic, thinly sliced
1 can beef broth
1 c. water

Simmer above ingredients until a toothpick pierces the meat easily (about 2 hours) depending on the cut of meat you use.

2 lg. green peppers

Washed, cored and sliced vertically. Add to beef and onions, simmer until tender, about 15 minutes. Add:

1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes with juice

Cut tomatoes into bite size pieces. Simmer again and add to thicken:

1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Add:

2 tbsp. soy sauce

Salt may be added to taste. Serve over noodles, mashed potatoes, etc. Top with La-Choy fried noodles.
