SWEDISH RYE BREAD 
4 c. water
3 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
4 c. rye flour
White flour
2 pkgs. dry yeast in 1/2 c. lukewarm water

Heat water; add salt, shortening, molasses, brown sugar, white sugar and sifted rye flour. Beat well. Add yeast and enough white flour to form a soft dough. Knead with white flour. Set in warm place to rise 1 hour. Form into 4 loaves. Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
