1 box angel food cake mix (can use store bought cake)
1 lg. container Cool Whip
1 sm. jar cherries
Chopped pecans (opt.)

Prepare cake mix as directed on box. Cool. Cover entire cake with Cool Whip. Decorate with cherries and nuts if desired. Chill 2 hours in refrigerator.
