4 turnips
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 c. whole cream
2/3 stick sweet butter

Steam turnips until done but not mushy; drain off juice and beat until fluffy. Add cream, salt, pepper and butter. Serve hot like mash potato.
