CORN MEAL MUFFINS 
1 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted fat
1 egg
4 tsp. baking powder
Pinch salt

Sift flour and corn meal with baking powder and salt; add milk slowly. Add well beaten egg, then fat. Bake in greased muffin tins about 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
