8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 onion, minced
Freshly ground pepper (or regular pepper) to taste
Salt to taste
30 small bread squares toasted

Toast a piece of bread and remove crusts and divide into 4 squares. Preheat broiler. Mix the cream cheese, egg, onion and pepper together. Mashing them well with a fork. Add salt. Spread generously on toasted bread and run under broiler until puffed and lightly browned. Serve at once.
