LAYER 1:

1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 c. pecans
2 c. all-purpose flour

Melt butter. Add flour and nuts. Press into an 11x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool.

LAYER 2:

2 (8 oz. ea.) pkgs. cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar

Whip cream cheese and powdered sugar together.

LAYER 3:

2 sm. pkgs. chocolate or butterscotch instant pudding
3 c. milk

Mix pudding and milk together.

LAYER 4:

Cool Whip

Spread on top.
