PREPARED PIE CRUST MIX 
9 c. flour
3 c. butter flavored Crisco
4 1/2 tsp. salt

In large bowl, combine flour, Crisco and salt. Mix the 3 ingredients together with pastry blender or hands. Mix well. Put this mixture in a glass jar with a tight lid. May be stored at room temperature for several months.

TO MAKE CRUST: Use 1 cup of the mix and 2 or 3 tablespoons COLD water. Mix and roll into a crust, using a small amount of flour for easy rolling. The 2 or 3 tablespoons of cold water is approximate. You need enough water to make the dough soft and pliable so it can be rolled easily. Avoid over handling of dough, as this makes the crust tough.
